Where to PvP how do I PvP? [Read Here] Before Posting...!

The one thing Trickster was missing for a while: a way to challenge your friends in a non-guild setting. The PvP system (also known as Player Kill, or PK) is still confined to specific zones, but updates are trickling in refining the mechanics, and adding to the number of maps and play modes.
General Rules and Etiquette
The PvP rules are simple: smash your opponent, or be smashed. There are two modes of play currently available: Free-for-All, and One-on-One. These systems each have their separate maps, and are accessed differently.

In Trickster, most players will NOT enter a PvP zone and randomly kill other characters without first asking them. Typcially, players will enter the Free-for-All maps in groups, and restrict their play to their group only, or among friends. Make sure you know what you're getting yourself into before you join in the fray. Golden rule: despite what it is, wait for another player to attack you first. In One-on-One play, this is not a problem since you will be required to formally request a challenge. One-on-One mode opperates under different mechanics, however, so it is not quite the same experience as Free-for-All.

Entering the PvP zone is easy. Simply find the NPC shown here in the Event Garden, the French Maid. Bring her a small MP potion (that may be purchased from the Event Garden Shop in the upper-left corner) and she'll let you in.

Once inside, if you wish to go into Free-for-All play, talk to her once more, select the zone you wish to enter (either the Rose Garden, or Marine Desert), and pay her 1000 Gelda. You'll be warped to a random location on the field, ready to roll.

If instead you want to enter One-on-One mode, talk to Don Geovanni after talking to the French Maid the first time. You will need three failed customization potions in order to enter, so if you don't have any, travel to Azteca or Carbaigle, purchase the fixings for HP/MP +400 restore potions (see the Customization charts), and make a bunch. Undoubtedly you will have several failed potions as a result. Bring them back, and you'll be allowed to enter the only map available, the Rose Garden.

Free-for-All PvP
Got a few friends and want to see who's best? Free-for-All mode is the way to go! Once you set foot inside the zone, your life is in your own hands. Whether its you against your best Trickster bud, or a tag-team match among guild members, the possibilities are endless. Play for fun, or for keeps! The rules are up to you.

Damage is reduced inside the PvP zone, so that battles last longer than just a few seconds. There isn't much more to it. Simply pick your target and attack, or cast, whatever your character does. This is fine for a few battles, but it can get dull after that. Considering that most of the other players will keep to themselves, things can become a little slow. For this reason, I've put together some PvP battle ideas to spice things up a bit. Most of these are suited for groups of 4 or more, so find some friends and give them a try!

Some of these games rely on the "Blue Sign Bug" which allows a character to display a blue sign that will stay even if the character moves around. The sign is reset if the character leaves an area, however. To perform this bug, right-click on your character, select the microphone option, type in the message you want permanently displayed, and display it. Now, without moving (since that will cancel the message), right-click on another character (a team member would be best) and select the "Card Battle" option. Quickly, before the other person accepts, cancel the Card Battle invitation. The blue sign will now be permanent. You can get rid of it by dying, leaving the area, or putting up a different blue sign.

Team Match The simplest of the PvP games. Form two teams and go at each other. Be careful not to hit your own teammates!

Tag Team Similar to Team Match, but only one player from each team may be active at a time. Player must return to a pre-set Safety Zone in order to switch with another player. Healing is only allowed inside the Safety Zone.

No Equipment Fight PVP with no weapons and no armor. Obviously this will be on the honor system, since it's not possible to look at another character's accessory slots. Fighters may be at a bit of a disadvantage against mages.

External Support Requires one mage on each team. Each team has one mage that handles healing. Other characters on the team may not use any active healing items or spells, and the mage may not attack.

No Healing No healing spells or items may be used. Regeneration buffs are allowed, however.

Turn-based Final Fantasy style! May be played with one or more players on a team. Teams line up close to each other, and execute moves one player at a time, alternating between teams. Decide the order before starting play. Players may not move positions except when carrying out an action, returning to the original position at the end of the action. One item, hit, skill, or spell counts as a single action.

The Hunt - All vs. One One player is 'it'. All other players attempt to KO this character, and the first one to do so wins. If the character that is 'it' survives for longer than a pre-specified amount of time, that character becomes the winner. The character that is 'it' should wear a unique piece of clothing or equipment, or should use the "Blue Sign Bug."

The Hunt - Team vs. Team One person from each team becomes 'it'. Each team must hunt down and KO the opposing team's 'it'. First team to do so wins. Characters that are 'it' may not attack, but may heal themselves. These characters should also wear an agreed-upon, and unique piece of clothing or equipment that easily identifies that character as 'it', or should use the "Blue Sign Bug."

Capture the Flag Requires one referee for each team. Players should divide into two teams and select a Flag Master (FM) for each team. The Flag Master will be responsible for maintaining the flag (an agreed-upon item should be used as the flag such as HP / MP +400 potions as red / blue flags), announcing to everyone who has captured the flag, and replacing the flag if that character is later KO'd. Basically, since the game will not keep track of the "flags" for you, one player on each team will need to take on this responsibility (plus, items dissapear if left on the ground too long, so replacing the flag is important too). Not the easiest game to play, but good for large groups of players.

Place Your Bets Requires one referee. Two teams (of one player or more), with each player betting a non-consumable item. The referee collects all the items, ensures both teams have bet approximately the same amount, and calls the game. The winning team recieves all items (if more than one player each team, teams are responsible for divying up the winnings).

Cutthroat 3 players Characters should arrange themselves far away from each other, in a triangular formation. Each character may only attack the character that is in a clockwise direction from them. For example, with players A, B, and C, A may only attack B, B may only attack C, and C may only attack A. When a player has defeated their opponent, they may attack the remaining character. Last character left standing wins.

The Destroyer One character is 'it'. The goal is for 'it' to KO as many other players as possible in a pre-determined amount of time. Players other than 'it' may not attack or heal. If any players remain at the end of a specified time limit, they win. Otherwise, the player who was 'it' wins.

One-on-One PvP
The One-on-One mode is a bit different than Free-for-All. The biggest difference is, even when on the field, unless your opponent has accepted your invitation to battle, you won't be able to attack. Further, damage is not reduced, as in Free-for-All, so make sure of who you are battling.

To begin a One-on-One battle, simply find a worthy opponent, right-click and select the top option to issue a challenge. If your opponent accepts, the game will start.

Credits goes for http://tricksters.50webs.com/pvp.html I did not write this or anything I got permission to post it here.

Now I don't want to see any more questions on where to PvP how to Pvp What is the best class etc.

LOL, I was reading this and was thinking this looked familiar, then I read the tricksters.50webs credit lol. Still glad you posted this. For the blue sign bug (a notice to all), it'll work even on a non town map if you just click the card battle. I'm not 100% that everyone can see it though. I got no comments about it T__T

I dont think in eTO PvP people EVER ask if you want to duel.
I always get killed and see people get killed from random higher level people,
Even when I'm in a group with friends to pvp with, someone random person comes in and kills me.
No fun D:
Ask please!

You are enetering the Free one. There people DONT ask they just swing then ask questions later. All damage and skill power is reduced in efficiency.

You must get into the one that Giovanni is at which requires three compoun wastes. There people NEED to ask for duel but all damage and skill power is normal here.
