For 100 boxes, we have
20 +/- 8 tickets; 95% of the time you will receive between 8-32 tickets

250 boxes:
50 +/- 12.6 tickets, 95% of the time you will receive between 37.4-62.6 tickets.

(if you're mathematically inclined, this is a binomial distribution with p = .2, q = .8... variance is npq, and standard deviation = sqrt (variance). Then 95% of sample in a SRS is within 2 sdev's of the mean... etc. etc.)
Wow. Good thing I took statistics last semester or none of that would have made any sense to me.

Understanding this will not help increase the Ticket rates.

We should just drill tons of boxes...Quantity over quality.
Win win situation, more boxes = more tickets/we make bonus stage = everyone happy.

So go forth and drill. Nao.

I just opened 490 boxes and got:

99 tickets (lol of course it couldn't be 100)
88 novice boxes
87 jewelry potions
74 galder coupons
49 rookie boxes
38 advanced boxes
32 elixir extracts
23 expert boxes

I found the huge difference in HP versus MP potions to be rather odd, expected to get equal numbers (not that it mattered since I was npc'ing all of them anyway) Also expected the compound boxes to be equal but obviously not

Yea I've gotten way less Elixir than I have Jewelry... not that I use them. I drop (Far away from a shop) or sell (near enough to bother). The boxes all seem to be kinda 'meh', I get more Novice than anything :S

The ticket rate decline was annoying though.

1st day of event - Dug up 50 boxes, got 30 tickets
After that - I've dug up over 500 boxes in a sitting, got around 70 tickets

Makes me sad in my pants. @_@;
I'm still 5~6 tickets away from a pendant/hat.
