lousy tickets rate?

issit just me or issit everyone that notice the lously poppuri ticket rate..i opened 50 boxes and got onil 7 tickets... godly amount i tink.

I've opened an estimate of 150-200 and only got 40 ;o

I think it's more about 1/5 - I opened 500 Boxes to get my first 100 tickets

Yeah, I'd say it's about a 1:5 ratio of tickets:boxes. I've opened about 250, and have 5x tickets. <.< But I mostly want the 25k of cash xD (and a few pop pendants would be nice)

That's why I stopped opening the boxes and just sold the boxes themselves at a very low price. I get more money that way instead of opening the boxes and hoping to get a Poppuri ticket~

I got 100 tickets in 600 boxes the day before yesterday
But yesterday I could get 125 boxes in 500

I got 550 tickets from 2700 boxes so far

The rates have always been low? Lol... Aureline last year got a few hundred boxes gathered up (500 or 1000) and barely got 20 tickets o_O But he just had uber bad luck with them lol.. But really, its not like the rates were any better last year. It was roughly 1:4 rate on average for most people, some people got better, some got worse.

I thought it was totaly random. I got 40+ outta 100 boxes first time (zomgwtfbbq)

I usually get about 30-36 tickets for every 100-130 boxes that I open. But what are you complaining about? Those boxes are easy to find and they're all over the place. If you should be complaining about any rates, it should be acorn box. I myself opened 4 and only got tea cakes and cookies. T-T

The ticket rate is ~ 1/5... I'm averaging 237 tickets/1133 boxes, which is about 1 ticket/4.78 boxes.

Be superstitious... I heard LK may affect the opening of poppuri boxes. I think it's a load of bunk, but it could be true, and it can't HURT to have more LK.

I did some basic stats analysis...

Let's assume the poppuri ticket rate is 1/5... This means if you open 50 boxes, you should expect to get
10 tickets +/- 5.6 tickets 95% of the time. This means that 95% of the time, you will receive between 4.4 tickets - 15.6 tickets.

For 100 boxes, we have
20 +/- 8 tickets; 95% of the time you will receive between 8-32 tickets

250 boxes:
50 +/- 12.6 tickets, 95% of the time you will receive between 37.4-62.6 tickets.

(if you're mathematically inclined, this is a binomial distribution with p = .2, q = .8... variance is npq, and standard deviation = sqrt (variance). Then 95% of sample in a SRS is within 2 sdev's of the mean... etc. etc.)
