Thats sick, Golden shield and golden swoard are the only way people can compete with Myshop who can't buy. They fact they released a myshop item at the same time is really lame and angers me quite a bit. I was going to Tut run today since I didn't manage anything for 5 hours yesterday. Those money grubbing pissants.

I bet Flagship studios will do a better job. Just wait until Mythos comes out, all these free foreign poorly staffed and translated MMOs don't have a prayer. Of course Flagship will be after the money as well, but they'll have the sense and a lot more buisness and motivation to manage thier PR better and be from the same culture.

I got a mule stocked full of pharoah junk and at least half of those are the old shields...

Which makes me wonder how valuable the shields are clean.

Well last night i saw a clean shield in a shop for 25 mil, i went to sleep and in the morning it was gone 0.0

clean one would be still be worth more than an old one with white day candy in it I think.

Even that chucklehead in mega who was trying to sell one comped for MA and DF now has a valuable shield. Maybe even the 17mill he was asking, prolly more like 10 though since It'll have to be fully nated.

u know... there is also a possibility that the owner has withdrawn the shield on purpose.. :angry:

anyway... in future one has to be very CAREFUL on buy clean shields... need to check the attributes to make sure it says dark attrib instead of resist ... :inf:

Wow, gg... I mean obviously it was a bug that it was Dark Attri on the shield instead of Dark Resist, but the bug worked in our favor and it took them this long to fix it.

I agree that it's cool that they fixed the bug, I disagree with how they did it. This is creating an unofficial black market on old shields... aaaand yeah I'm super jealous I didn't stock up on old shields.

People cry that dark attributes were overpowered (and dark dragons, imagine if the shield kept the same, the max dark attr your avg dragon with the ring/GLS and other equips could have)

many people didn't want it to be this way, or they are just trying to improve dark ring sales.

force the players(who can afford) to buy the dark ring, because many people (used to?) run around with the Gold lion shield compounded with dark

since the beginning of mirage island last patch, the usefulness of Dark GLS improved due to availability of dark stones
(im willing to BET the release of myhax ELEMENT STONES in the future too)

too bad , too bad...(i still have three kind of GLS still... broken-clean, 149%, and pure Clean)

Oh lol, a bug that exist for around 6 months, but I bet it's all but honest mistake right? And the Dark Ring addition is purely coincidence, after all this is Ntreev, they won't disappoint us <3.

I find this very interesting, but still i don't think that changing the dark attr. to resist in the new shields will help at all to keep the balance within classes, since the dragon that can actually get benefits from using a dark attribute shield must be 3rd job, and most of them already have one, or don't have problems at all to get one, even with higher prices.
The effects will be more notorious in other classes (specially low level ones with high ap, like charms or power chars... or even foxes) since a person that is just starting won't be able to get a shield compounded with dark attr. as easy as it was before (due to inflation and higher prices).
So i guess it will be less common to see low level chars wacking monsters and doing massive damage to them, lol.

they will all be changed to "-resist" in accordance to the soil, air, elec. etc. rings.(the shield. making a weapon resist is utter crap, but you don't know what to expect, we do have pretty much the ONLY timed uberpet of the servers)

I don't believe this is a cooincidence. Why even delay the dark ring release in the first place?
