You rollback a site because the OWNERS of the guides delete their OWN guide.
Perhaps you should rollback every day then, because you deleted posts too. Because you are actually deleting things from others, yes you are the admin and thus have the right to do that but don't tell me people can't delete their own posts when they want to do so.

Every single site has to listen to the owner of the guides/pictures they have on their site. They are copyrighted and you keeping them is just STEALING.

You DO NOT have ownership of any guide posted on this website, if the author decides to remove their guide it should remain as so.

1 person who had moderator privledges removed all the guides, so I did a rollback

They removed the guides because after what happened with Metal, many of the guide authors had expressed that they did not want their guides hosted here any longer. And that fact has not changed. If anything, you performing that rollback to REGAIN the guides made them angrier. The authors do NOT want their guides to remain here.

So wait, you don't know how to recover threads so you did a roll back instead. Furthermore, who had mod powers? You removed everyone who was a mod. Plus, you should be able to know who deleted what threads. Noticed I said threads not posts. Post can be edited by the original authors. If they wish to edit it, it's entitled to their choice.

It was only after that I removed mod rights from everyone, and no i didn't know how to undo all the deletes, so i rolled it back (the roll back was only 1 day)

It was rolled back 2 months by the previous owner, I only received the database that was about 2 months old.

You're right, I dont. However, I do know for a fact that many do not wish for their guides to remain here. There was a huge discussion regarding the matter after the fallout with Metal in which this case was brought up, and the available guide authors at the time spoke their mind on the matter.
