refine fail?

wat happens if u refine(adding gemstones) and it fails...will the equip be gone? or will it be un-usable? or can it still be used but cannot be refine further unless with repair powder?

any kind souls willing to help?

Unless it's MyShop, you can still wear it.
And if not, you have to repair it first before you can use it again
