"How to" Instructions!
Disclaimer: The characters you see in the Scamming Demostrations are professional actors and no wallets have been hurt.

When posting evidence, please note the following:

1) Only Photobucket hosted screenshots are accepted. I don't want to see Imageshacks, Imagevenues, Mediafiles, Rapidshares, Tinypic, etc.
2) Only the scammed should post the evidence. Don't post for your friends. Your friend does not know how to post? Your friend is shy? Your friend's IP is banned on MyTrickster? Well I'm sorry.
3) From this point on, I no longer accept evidence for Gacha scams. It's not that it's hard to prove, it's very easy to be manipulated.
4) If the person admits that s/he scammed you/others, that is enough evidence to put him/her on this list.
5) If the scammer returns whatever item, that does *not* earn them a ticket off the list.


How to Locate Your Trickster Online Screenshots

Spoiler!

1) Go into "Your Computer" or an equivilant of it.

2) Go into your "C" Drive or an equivilant of it.

3) Go into your "Trickster Online" Folder.

4) Go into your "capture" Folder.

5) Enjoy your collection of Screenshots!

Note: To take a screenshot ingame, press the PRNTSCRN or an equivilant to it button on your keyboard (usually in the upper right-hand corner).

All shots made (providing that you aren't lagging) will end up in the capture folder.

How to Use Photobucket

Spoiler!

1) Go to http://www.photobucket.com

2) Click "Join Now"

3) Fill out desired information. It doesn't really have to be real information except maybe the e-mail address.

4) There should be an area where you can Upload Images from your PC.

Click Browse and locate the screenshot you desire to upload.

Click Upload to being the upload. Do not exit from this window until it's done.

5) Once it is finished, click on the IMG Code link of the Screenshot you just uploaded.

It should say Copied. Go to the thread and Ctrl + V (Or right-click + Paste) into the Post area.

6) Post the Reply and it should work!

Non-Gacha MyShop Scams - You are the Buyer

Spoiler!

1) Screenshot the deal that is to be made.



2) Take screenshots of the money/item transaction.

You need one screenshot where I can see the name of the person you are dealing with

and another screenshot where you actually performed the transaction.

More or less I need to see "Trade completed" or "_________ items purchased by _".






Note how in the Timestamps, the times are not that far apart.


3) Screenshot any chat made between you and the dealer.

The chat should include the dealer going into MyShop, Friending you, and other related things.



Note that in this case, the dealer didn't ask for the buyer to Friend her at all.

It could be that they friended on a prior occasion but the Screenshot wasn't taken of that.


4) After the person says something to confirm that he or she has sent the goods, go into your MyShop Gift Receive History.

If you do NOT see the product being sent to you, then you take a screenshot of that and get out of MyShop.



5) Confront the person, let dealer know that you haven't received the goods.

If the dealer responds by deleting you from Friends, logging off, or just plain running away, screenshot that.

Extra notes: If you show me your Gift History, you'll have to show me some sort of confirmation

that the person is done prior to showing me the Gift History.

This includes the dealer saying that it is sent, logging off, running away, or just plain admit that he or she scammed you.

Non-Gacha + Gacha MyShop Scams - You are the Seller

Spoiler!

1) Screenshot the deal that is to be made.




2) Take screenshots of after you sent the requested item(s) (like the dispute between you and your buyer).



Note: Be sure to make the amount of money you have in view so I can properly evaluate the scam in progress.


3) Screenshot your Gift Purchase History showing that you did indeed gifted the requested item to said buyer.

Note: It will say NOT RECEIVE in a purple box instead of orange if the receiver of the gift did not take it out of their MyShop inventory.

How to Post Non-MyShop Scams

Posting scams of the non-MyShop nature is very similar to the previous processes. What I need to see is the deal being made, the transaction (or lack of), and the disappearing act or... something. Use your best judgment for this.

It's kind of strange as the pictures show fine for me, but sometimes this site seems to bugg.
Unfortunatly, I cannot give timestamped picture as I used WinGrab to make the capture (they are not in the Trickster Online folder due to this reason), however, they were taken the 2007-11-01 according to the tagging of the pictures (of course I could be lying).
At best I could show the whole gift record to proove that I didn't get any gift from her, but then again I believe gacha coins aren't shown on the mygift, therefore it would be kind of useless, but if needed I can still post those screenshots if you really want me to.

Pretty painful but its my carelessness and excitement that caused me this so I have no right to complain. I just wanted to post this so other players may be aware of this scammer and avoid any unnecessary losses.

Prior to the trade, I agreed to help him lvl from 86 to 90 so he can wear his myshop items to somehow 'prove' his credibility. And after having done so:
